Mehmed ⅴ Solve (1844-1918) – Thirty-fifth Sultan (27. ⅺ 1909 – 3. ⅶ 1918). The son of Sultan Abdul Azis, brother of Sultan Murat C, and inherited the expelled Sultan Abdul Hamid ⅱ. He stayed in Bitola and other places in Macedonia. In his day, parliament was restored. As Sultan lost three wars: The Italian, First Balkan and World War I, when the state governed the young Turks.
