Macedonian societies in Argentina (1906-1941). Macedonian settlers in Argentina were self-organized in their own organizations. Then the Macedonian-District Brotherhood in Buenos Aires (1907 and 1908) was activated for organizing expatriates for providing assistance to the acquittal fight in Macedonia. There was a charity Macedonian Society “Goce Delchev” (1909). Expatriates Macedonians were also a member of the Bulgarian-Macedonian emigrant cultural circle. In the 20s d. on ⅹⅹ c. Macedonian emigrants joined the Argentine workers’ movement in the Communist Party of Argentina (since its establishment). Macedonians in the CPA were organized in a separate group, and Nikola Kazandziev was a member of the CPA Central. Then the organization of the Macedonian Progressive Movement (1932) started. The Macedonian progressive groups were established in Buenos Aires and in the interior. In Buenos Aires was a printed newspaper “Macedonian Voice” (1935-1939). Macedonian Committee for Assistance of Anti-Fascist Liberation Struggle (June 1941) was established.
