Lazeski, Borko (Prilep, 22. 1917 – Skopje, 16. 1993) – Painter and pedagogue, a crucial role for the modernization of fresco painting and in general the flourishing of monumental art. He participated in the NOB. After graduating from the State Art Academy in Sofia (1943), specialized by fresco, mosaic and stained glass in Paris. He participated in the formation of DLUM, the Art Gallery and UPS in Skopje. Province in the village of Lazaropole is B. Lazeski: fresco fresco “NOB” (1951/56) Borko Lazeski Val at the Pedagogical Academy in Skopje and Alu in Baghdad. Among the first applies the abstract expression (1948), but works and impressionist, abstract and associative compositions. His modernist frescoes have the greatest importance, primarily the fresco for a new Skopje train station (1956), which has greatly influenced the artists from the fifties. The fresco-manuscript of B. L. It is a tightened cubitism with a warm color and is in relation to Byzantine aesthetics and Mexican muralists. His monumental stained glasses in the Economic Bank, the complex banks in Skopje, the Ilinden monument and New in Krusevo (1974).
