Kozuf – a high mountain massif located in the final southern parts of the Republic of Macedonia, on the Macedonian border, between the Tikvesh valley of the northwest and Gevgelija-Valandovo valley in the east. Stretches in the direction of JZs. The mountain was rounded and unclear. His highest peaks are green coast (2,165 m), Sadica (2,138 m), spruce (2,112 m), port (2,097 m), etc. It covers an area of 893 km². The geological composition makes Paleozoic shales, which are located in the floor, and through them in the higher parts, Triabi limestones and volcanic rocks lie. In Neogen Kozuf, he was busy with intense volcanic activity represented by strong eruptions and outbursts of volcanic lava and pyroclastic material. From Andesites, more volcanic bought and sublimated were built: Ostretch, Sturders, Mosta Chuka. The volcanic activity enabled the creation of ore and arsemonic ore (in Alshar and stinking water), both on copper and lead-zinc ore (in the Djadica). Kozuf was developed karst relief, especially in the karst area Huma. During the Pleistocene, the highest parts of this southern mountain of Macedonia were busy with glaciation, so they meet traces of it in the form of cirits.
