Kostov, Harry (village. – Skopje, statesman. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Skopje. Was an expert associate in the Executive Council of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia and the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, Deputy Minister of Finance in the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, Chairman of the Management Board of the Agency for Restoration of the Banks of the Republic of Macedonia, Assistant Director of the World Bank (August 1995 – October 1996), Director General of Komercijalna Banka – Skopje (from October 1996) and interior minister of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia (1. XI 2002 – 2. ⅵ 2004). After the election of the previous Prime Minister Branko Crvenkovski for the President of the Republic of Macedonia, he was elected Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia (2. – 15 XI 2004). In his mandate, the Law on the new, third territorial division of the Republic of Macedonia was adopted to 84 municipalities, but soon thereafter resigns and returns as the first director of Komercijalna Banka. d. – Skopje (early 2005). He participated in the conclusion of several international financial agreements. Achieved significant results in the economic empowerment and affirmation of Komercijalna Banka a. d. – Skopje as one of the leading banks in the Republic of Macedonia. Lit.: Macedonian governments.
