Karamandi, Elpida (Pida) Stavreva (Posser. Early childhood lived in Bitola, Elpida Karamandi, where he finished high school. The student was a participant in the Macedonian Student Movement of the Belgrade University (1938). As a member of the SCOY (1939) and the CPY (June 1941) was the organizer of women’s youth in the communist movement and in the NOB. For a certain period, it was engaged in the party technique of the MK of the CPY in Bitola. After the arrest of the Bulgarian police, due to lack of evidence, was released. In order to avoid further police forwarding, he went to the illegality. Soon was elected as a member of the PC of SCOY for Macedonia (January 1942) and left as a fighter of the Bitola National Liberation Partisan Squad “Pelister” (April 1942). In the struggle of the Laskanian Corija (near the village of Lavy, Bitola, 3, 1942), against the Bulgarian army and the police were hardly wounded and trapped, after which they dragged tied to stopped circuit after the Bitola villages to intimidate the population. In such circumstances and died. In the same year, the first folk song was published in recognition of her face and work, because “Nada student for people died, for the people killed – for Macedonia.” (Old revolutionary songs with new consistency, “Newsletter” of the Bitola organization of the CPY, no. 21, Bitola, 7. ⅻ 1942). It is also the famous folk song “There Le, Majko, near Bitola” (1950) and in other folk and royal songs. It is proclaimed for a folk hero (11. ⅹ 1951).
