Jordanovski, Ljupco

Jordanovski, Ljupco (Stip, 13. 1953) – Electro-engineer, scientific adviser (1998) at the Seismological Observatory at the PMF in Skopje, politician. He graduated (1975) and Master’s degree (1978) at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Zagreb. PhD (1985) at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles with the topic “Study of numerical methods in the inversion of the earthquake hotspot”. Holded teaching on PMF, Rudd.Oall. Falk. And the Institute of Earthquake Engineering. He contributed to the equipping and modernization of the Seismological Observatory and the study of the seismicity of the Republic of Macedonia. He was on senior functions in the Association of the Communists of Yugoslavia and the Social Democratic Union of the Republic of Macedonia, President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia (2004-06) and a short time ambassador of the Republic of Macedonia to the United States.
