Ivanovski, Blagoja.

Ivanovski, Blagoja (Skopje, 28. 1921 – Skopje, 14. ⅴ 1994) – Composer. Together with fig and Macedonian, he was one of the founders of contemporary Macedonian symphonism. He announced his talent with the composition “Separation” (1948), but the attention of the total musical public in Macedonia, and beyond, turned it with symphony poem thinking (1954), which remained one of its most frequent works. Later, he wrote another whole series of symphonic poems (fresco, 1961; Vardar, 1979; Nerezi, 1984; etc.) In which he specially attracted historical topics from the Macedonian distant and closer past. In his opus, chamber compositions (Piano, 1952 variations were present; Suita for cello and piano, 1956), Solo songs (hero and beech, 1951; Don Quixote, 1960) and children’s songs. He spent most of his working life in Macedonian radio television, and a longer period was the head of her musical production. M. Cole.
