Gymnastics in Macedonia -. Sports discipline. Some elements of gymnastics appeared in schools even before the Young Turk Revolution (1908), then in the curriculum of gymnastics in the secondary (1908 -1941), that is, physical education and primary schools (after 1945). Sports activities in this period continues to be turret – Strajberra, p. Cleiggovo: From the discovery of the gymnasium (1957), gymnastics for citizens were groomed within the framework of the Sokol’s organization (1919-1941). The Sokol system is abandoned after the liberation (1945), and modern needs created new types: sports, rhythmic, acrobat, morning, corrective, rehabilitation and ancillary gymnastics. They are groomed within the gymnastics and DTV “Partizan” of Macedonia. Pointed gymnasts were: Mile Angelovski, Gjorgji Manevski, Petar Aleksovski, Gjorgji Spasov, Joseph Vukan, Gel Put, Zondovski, Penco Janevski, Zoran Gjorgjevski, Pavle Pavlovski and others, and gymnasts: Ljubica Alekesovska, Magdalena Alekosovska , Antonia Nikolovska, Slavica Todorovska, Svetlana Stojanovska and others.
