Galjev, Gale (village Sachevo, Strumica, 11. ⅱ 1943) – a lawyer, a university professor. Primary education ended in birthplace, and the Teacher School in Stip (1963). He graduated from the Faculty of Law in Skopje (1968), where he was a Master’s degree (1979) and received his doctorate on the topic “Freedom of bargaining as one of the basic principles of contracting (obligatory) law in the Socialist Yugoslavia” (1989). He was elected as an assistant (1971), for the lecturer (1979), for assistant (1989), for extraordinary (1994) and for full professor (1999) of the civil law and industrial property. He was a pro-rector of the University “St. Cyril and Methodius “(1996-1998) and Minister of Education and Science in the Government of the Republic of Macedonia (1999-2000). He was Dean of the Faculty of Law in Skopje (2004-2008). One of the establents of the Central Registry of the Republic of Macedonia (1997-2000) and the European Credit Transfer System at the Faculty of Law in Skopje (2005). He was chairman of the State Commission for the preparation of the Law on Obligatory Relations (1998-2001) and participated in the preparation of several legal projects in the field of property relations, denationalization, pledge, contracting mortgage, the Central Registry and Higher Education. After his initiative, the Faculty of Law “Justinjan first” became part of the regional postgraduate studies in the European business law, organized at 13 higher education institutions in Southeast Europe. Within the European Credit Transfer System of Higher Education, as Dean of the Faculty, it promoted and realized the idea “textbook for each student”, whereby the publishing faculty production was erected by over 40 new editions of GI-Disney, which as a rule donated to the the said. He published over 100 scientific papers in the field of civil law.
