Gaidov, Stefan (Veles, 8. 1905 – Ohrid, 18. ⅵ 1992) – Composer, conductor and musical pedagogue. Secondary music education ends (1929) in Belgrade. One period (1929-1932) teaches music in the high school in Veles and leads the choir “Yaka SA Vardara”. He then works as a professor at the Gymnasium in Vukovar (1932-1941), where the school choir and orchestra, as well as the Choir Radisha, in Borovo. During the Second World War (1941-1944), continues the activity as a music professor and a choral conductor in the women’s high school in Skopje. In the postwar period d. Develops a very fruitful and diverse creative activity. He is one of the five founders of contemporary musical life in the Republic of Macedonia. Works as a professor at the Medium Music School in Skopje, where he teaches theoretical objects and piano; It leads the choirs: “Vlado Tasevski”, “Koco Racin”, the chorus of the University, the JNA choir in Skopje, the Choir of Radio Skopje and the choir of educators. D. He is the director of the MNT opera (1951/1952), and then director of the ten-year music school (1955-1970) in Skopje. He is also one of the most prominent authors of textbooks for music and general education schools in the NOT-but singing subject. His collections with harmonized folk songs in the pre-war period (“Lele Jana”, “Hejdi bad”, “Gora and hero”, etc.) represent successful choral miniatures, at that time the most common in the reperoches of numerous choral societies in Macedonia and serve as a base For upgrading in creating the specific elements of the domestic choral syllable.
