Elders, Vasilis

Elders, Vasilis (1883-1956) – Greek diplomat and deputy minister in Government of Greece (1947-1950), representative of Greece in the Society of Nations (1920-1928). Regarding the Macedonian minority issue in Greece in the DN (1925) supported the release of the Macedonian language primer, titled Abecyar, for teaching in schools for Macedonian children in the Aegean part of Macedonia. He explained her with elaboration that that language is a special language, different from the Bulgarian and Serbian.
