Dojranska valley

Dojranska valley – valley in the final southeastern part of the Republic of Macedonia. It occurred with the neotectonic movements of raising and sinking in the Neogene, along the scattered lines of Belasica from the northwest there are several more prominent peaks: Chattal tap and Tepe (1,474 m); The low mountain oak (974 m) from the west; From eastern branches of Pear Mountain. The valley has a triangular shape in which Dojran Lake is located. Most of the valley, especially the bottom – the level, lies in the Aegean part of Macedonia (Greece), and on the territory of the Republic of Macedonia covers an area of ​​62 km², with an altitude of 148 m to 148.5 m.
