Dimitrovski, Todor (s. Substrates, Veles, 19. 1922 – Skopje, 15. Xi 2000) – linguist, literary historian and translator. At 10 years, his parents moved to Skopje (1932), where he finished elementary school and gymnasium (1940), Faculty of Philosophy (1954) and habilitated the labor “the international layer in the language of Krste Misirkov” (1970). Worked as an interpreter in the Macedonian editorial office of Tanjug, several years in c. “Labor” (1945-1949), followed by a lecturer in the bookmarks “New generation” and “Koco Racin” (1950-1953). The rest of the working life (until retirement) spent at the Institute of Macedonian Language “Krste Misirkov” as an assistant, scientific associate, senior research associate and scientific advisor (1 ⅹ 1953 – 30. IX 1984). He was Head of the Lexicography and Lexicology Department (1966-1984), President of the Literary Translators Union (1982-1989), editor-in-chief of the SP. “Literary word”, a member of the editorial board of the SP. “Macedonian language” and honorary member of the DPM. He is one of the three three-story “vocabulary of the Macedonian language with Serbian interpretations” (1961, 1965 and 1966) and one of the authors of “Macedonian spelling with spelling vocabulary.
