Debar valley

Debar valley – is located in the final western part of the Republic of Macedonia in the miner of Black Drim and Radika, between the mountains of Krin from east, Stogovo from the southeast and Jablanica from the West. The valley is not entirely on the territory of our country, and traffic is quite isolated. Traffic with other parts communicate through the narrow and deep gorges of Radika and Black Drim. It covers an area of ​​973 km², of which over 80% Debar valley, satellite recording is at an altitude of 750 to 2,200 m. The Debar valley has occurred with tectonic radial movements in oligomiocyon with Alpine gathering. It is lowered along two decomposed with different direction of stretching: Kosovarski Si-JZ and Banich Nz-Yi. Along these two faults there are thermal springs on which both famous bathrooms are built. The Pliocene valley was filled with water and converted into a lake.
