Debar earthquake (Debar, 30. Xi 1967, at 7 am and 23 minutes) – an earthquake with a local magnitude of 6.5 and maximum intensity of IX degrees according to the European macroseism scen-la, with epicenter on the territory of Albania and a series of further tremors ( until April 1968). There were caused by 41 inhabitants in Macedonia and 177 settlements in Albania, with 7 killed persons in Macedonia, 12 killed persons in Albania and a total of 214 wounded. S. Ml.
