Day of the uprising of the Macedonian people in the Vardar part of Macedonia (11. ⅹ 1941) – a public holiday of the Republic of Macedonia. After a PC decision of the CPY for Macedonia, the Prilep Partisan Equalus attacked the Bulgarian police exchange, the prison and TT lines in Prilep and marked the organized start of the armed uprising in Macedonia against the fascist occupiers, national and social freedom and for creating its own Macedonian state . The National Assembly adopted a special law on proclamation of this day for the Public Holiday of the DFM (Official Gazette of DFM, 1. ⅹ 1945). As a public holiday, the first time is marked at 11. ⅹ 1945 Vlado Ivanoski, 11 October 1941, Skopje, 1971. Vl. Iv.
