Cultural-educational and charitable fraternities in Macedonia (1941-1944) – regime associations for spreading the Great Bulgarian Idea and Bulgarization of Macedonians. They spread on the initiative and directly influenced by the National Propaganda Directorate. The names of the fraternity stemmed from the names of the Macedonian cities, that is, from the places where the members originated. The organizers of these fraternities should be highlighted Bulgarophiles, supporters of the Bulgarian state. The goal was “through the fraternicity of creating a Bulgarian spirit in its fellow citizens and assisting the state power in its efforts to overcome the Macedonian population in Bulgarian spirit. The formation of Macedonian fraternities in Skopje there was another goal – joining Bulgaria and other areas of Macedonia that remained under German, or Italian-Albanian occupation. ” In Skopje, Tetovo-Gostivar, Galichky-Debar and Strumica fraternity.
