Crabs

Crabs (strutzea) – arthropods, mainly aquatic organisms. Inhabit marine and terrestrial waters. Live freely as float forms, and a small number are sedentary or parasites. The body consists of a different number of segments (members) for different types. Segments are clearly separated in the head, builds and tails. The body is protected by a hithine matter – a cute, which is an external skeleton. Hands have great economic significance. Plankton species are an important component in the diet of fish, while the larger species are used in human nutrition. The world is known over 35,000 species. In Macedonia, this class is very well studied; 513 taxa (486 species and 27 subspecies), of which, 137 are endemic (113 species and 24 subspecies). This group of organisms is divided into 5 subclasses: vegetants crustaceans (Tsapoda), fish lice (Brandzhira), crustains (oubrange), jacronogy crustaceans (Brandzhiopoda) and senior crabs (malax).
