Christmas Eve – Day opposite the great holiday Christmas Christ – Christmas. Particularly rich customs are performed evening against Christmas, when the latest preparations for the holiday are carried out. It is a distinctive rich dinner table with exclusively fifty food: Pitulaw, sarma, beans, potatoes, fish, zalk, fruits, etc. It is customary after dinner, not rising, but along with the food to stay all night, and in some places it remains during the three days while celebrating Christmas. This is related to the belief that the night will come Santa God and will feed. Sophila is placed on a straw for memorial of the Vitleem’s cave in which Jesus was born. Later, this straw bind the fruit trees, with the belief that it will protect them from diseases and pests and that they will give a rich genus. In several regions of Macedonia on this day, Messi Kravis, pie or a pie in which Silver pairs is placed and the happiness of all family members is forecast. (In some areas, the same custom is carried out on Vasilitsa.) Rich customs and beliefs are associated with the ritual fire, as well as the burning of the tree (oak, spruce, wild pear, etc.) called Christmas Eve or Badi. Regarding the ritual fires is the custom Kisjacan, when the children burn fire, sing the collateral songs and go by homes where they receive gifts. The birth of the new (young) Sun is celebrated in the collaps of the new (young) sun, the birth of the little God, as well as the arrival of the great Christian holiday – Christmas.
