Cambovski, Vlado (Bitola, 5. ⅰ 1948) – University professor, academician. He finished primary and secondary education in his hometown. He graduated from the Faculty of Law in Skopje (1970), as the best graduate student of several generations. Master degree at the Faculty of Law in Zagreb (1975), and the doctoral thesis defended the Faculty of Law in Skopje on the topic “The problem of failing in the criminal law” (1980). Elected as assistant (1971), for assistant (1980) and for full professor (1992) at the Department of Criminal Law of the Faculty of Law in Skopje. Selected as a regular member of MANU (2006) and vice president in 2007 He managed working groups for the preparation of the Law on Courts (1995) and the Criminal Code (1996). He was Dean of the Faculty of Security (1980-1984) and director of the Institute for Sociological and Political and Legal Research in Skopje (1984-1986). Elected Vice President of the Executive Council of the Assembly of SRM (1986), for Federal Secretary of Justice and Administration at the Federal Executive Council of SFRY (1989) and for Minister of Justice in the Government of the Republic of Macedonia (1999). President is at the forum for Euro-Atlantic integration of the Republic of Macedonia and Head of the Megaproject at the Faculty of Law in Skopje “The Euro-integration of the social, legal and political system of the Republic of Macedonia”. He has written over 150 papers and 15 books, as well as several textbooks in the field of criminal law, published in several languages.
