Andonovski, Tome (Lazaropole, 5. IX 1940) – geographer. Primary and secondary education ended in Bitola, and a natural and mathematics faculty, (Institute of Geography) in 1964. in Skopje. He worked as a professor of geography in the gymnasiums in Debar and Bitola. In 1971 He was admitted to an assistant at the Institute for Geography at the PMF in Skopje. In 1977 He finished postgraduate studies at the Institute of Geography of PMF in Belgrade, and in 1983. On Natural and Mathematics Andonovski, the Kyth Faculty in Skopje defended the doctoral dissertation “Kicevo valley – geomorphological studies”. He was elected Lecturer (1977), for assistant (1984), for an associate professor (1987) and for a full-time professor (1992). He taught mathematical geography, geomorphology and methodology of geography. He was the head of the Institute for Geography, PMF, president of the Union of Geographical Associations of the Republic of Macedonia and Secretary General of the Speleologists of the SFRY. He published about 50 scientific papers, which are mainly the field of geomorphology.
