Eutrophication – a process of natural or anthropogenic intake of nutrients (mainly nitrogen and phostrical compounds) for primary producers, resulting in intensive development of algae and changing the physical and chemical conditions of ecosystem and, most often, intensive use of oxygen with partial or partial or permanent anaerobus. A number of eutrophy river (all lower flow of R. Vardar, Pchinja, Bregalnica and others), lake (Prespa Lake, Dojran Lake) and accumulation ecosystems (“Tikves”) were recorded.
