Bregalnica – River, Left tributary of Vardar. It springs in the western slopes of the Maleshevo Mountains, under the top Chengino Kale, at a height of 1,720 m, and in Vardar is plum at a height of 137 m. The total length of the river flow is 225 km, has a total decline of 1.583 m, with an average decline of 7.04 ‰. The basin covers the following 4,307 km. From the source to the estuary along its course R. Bregalnica receives 23 larger and smaller tributaries whose length is greater than 10 km. The river valley has a composite character. From the source to the Maleshevo valley, there is a mountainous character, and then to the destructive gorge runs as a flat river, from a diligent gorge (19.1 km) enters the drunken school valley, and from the estuary of the Battle River to the entrance to the Kocanska valley flows through the famous Istibanjska Gorge ( 39 km), then through the Kocani valley, and with the village.
