Democratic Party for Macedonian National Unity (January 1990) – Party established by democratically oriented Macedonians from emigration in Europe, with a temporary manager – Coordination Council of DPMNE, under the presidency of Dragan Bogdanovski. The Coordination Council (23.) sent a written request to the Assembly of the SFRY, SIS, to the Parliament and the Executive Council of SRM for the right Democratic Party for Macedonian National Unity to be constituted in SR Macedonia, with all rights and obligations as other parties. Requests were sent to the National Assembly and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Bulgaria (February 1990) for constitution, ie legalization of the DPMNE in the Pirin part of Macedonia and in Sofia, the center of the Macedonian emigration, as well as parliament and the Government of the Republic of Greece, DPMNE as the Democratic Party of the Macedonian people to be constituted in the Aegean part of Macedonia.
