Debartic Youth Battalion (Debar, 6. ⅹ 1943 – December 1944) – Military Unit of New and Pom. First, a temporary headquarters (15. Nikola Makelarki was sent for a commander, and for political commissioner Lujvva Rusi, who took over the preparation of preparations, and after the formation, a new command composition was elected: Demir Gashi (commander), Kemal Agoli (political commissioner), Nikola Makelaren (deputy commander) And Jauffer Kodra (Deputy Political Commissioner). Later, the battalion was named as a Debar youth battalion “Nazmi Rushiti” (25. 1943) and headed for Kicevo (late October 1943). In the s. Botun, the third (Macedonian) Chiefs set out the battalion and left for Debarca. The other (Albanian) troops (as a reserve), together with the group of Macedonian and Kosovo battalions, participated in the liberation of Kicevo (1 Xi 1943). In doing so, the third (Macedonian) company, along with the NOOP “Slavej”, provided and struggle with the Botonian Strait. After the liberation of Kicevo, the battalion remained as military protection of folk power in the city and along with two small troops armed with heavy weapons, he also participated in defense against German forces and ballists throughout.
