Vlahčeva, Slavyanka

Vlachge, Slavjanka (Stip, 1900 – Skopje, 4 ⅳ 1988) – First educated nurse in Macedonia. He completed the school for nurses of the Red Cross Society in Belgrade (1924). After returning to his hometown, actively engaged in the fight against malaria. Later, he went to work in the antiturtubuculous dispensary in Skopje. There is a special merit for the introduction of the patronage service and the implementation of the harsh vaccination. He actively helped NOVM and the fighting for the liberation of Skopje joined the fourteenth Macedonian youth but a brigade “Dimitar Vlahov”. After the liberation, the task was established to establish a school for nurses in Skopje (1945) and was appointed his first director. There was also a special activity in the Macedonian Red Cross.
