Vesov, Ljubomir.

Vesov, Ljubomir (Veles, 1892 – s. Ourders, Krushevo, 1922) – poet, revolutionary. He was educated in Veles, Thessaloniki and Sofia. During the student days he appeared interest in literature. He studied legal sciences at the Sofia University. The impetus for literature gave his close friend, Vasil Pundev, who has the merit that presents him to the public’s poetry of Vesov, after the death of the author. In the Bulgarian periodical, he published his poetic works and translations from Russian authors (Solgub, Beli, Gumilev), whose creativity he had affinity. These poetic articles announced a reliable name in Bulgarian literature. However, it was stronger the ideal of the young Macedonian to devote himself to the armed struggle for the liberation of the homeland, and despising everything that means career and future well-being, collects the PA-the conscious self-sacrifice. The determination to prioritize the rifle instead of the pen is leading to the dignified adventure, bringing the freedom of Macedonia through the replication of the hot lead. In order not to fall alive in the hands of Serbian cops, he commits suicide. The trace of poetic art leaves Ljubomir Vesov does not constitute a distinctive quantity, but speaks of realized quality that binds our memory and respect for the name of the poet and the revolutionary.
