Turbe – Islamic tombstone, Mausoleum. Turbations are built by mosques and cemetery. The most common form is square and polygonal, indoor and open type with a dome. They are built of stone and brick, and encountered and coated with marble. Significant turbines are Mustafa Pasha, the turbe in the yard of the Aladja Mosque, Ali-Pasha from Degan, Bayhan Sultan – both in the courtyard of Sultan Murato Mosque, as well as the remains of Ashik Celebi’s turbe (Gazi Baba), all in Skopje , Turbon in the courtyard of the Painted Mosque in Tetovo, the turbe of Sinan Celebi in Ohrid.
