Court Processes in the Pirin Part of Macedonia (1933 -) – Processes of Bulgarian courts against fighters for Macedonian national rights. In 1933 In the event, a court process was held on which the Macedonian revolutionaries were held – Communists: Nikola Parapunov, Krsto Stojchev, Kostadin Lagadinov and the members of VMRO (OB.). In the time of World War, several trials, in absentia, Nikola Parapunov, Ivan Kozarev, Nikola Kalapchiev and other Macedonians anti-fascists were convicted. In 1942 In Sofia and in Gorna Jumia, they were sentenced to death Nikola Vaptsarov, Anton Popov, Atanas Romanov, Grozdan Nikolov, St. Lisichkov and Vlado Chimev. At the trials of the IB Resolution (1949), Bulgarian courts judged delegates at the first session of ASNOM Vasil Vasilev and Atanas Velikov Atanasov. Other trials, in the same year, 3 lifelong and perennial prison sentences were imposed. In 1958 Stojan Georgiev-Tomin, Kiril Ruskin, Boris Pregar, Gjorgi Pop-Atanasov, etc. were sentenced to many years. In 1974 Socrates Marquel, Pando Iliev, Ilija Kocv, Tomomin, etc. were sentenced. In the seventies and eighties, Jordan Kostadinov (current president of OMO “Ilinden”) and other Macedonians fighters for national rights were sentenced.
