Todorova, Sofia

Todorova, Sofia (Skopje, 11. ⅹⅰⅰ 1947) – University professor, economist. Primary and secondary education ended in his hometown (1966). She graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Skopje (1970), and she received a master’s degree at the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade (1977). He received his doctorate at the Faculty of Law in Skopje, on the topic “Joint workers and the acquisition of income” (1987). Chosen as an assistant at the Institute of Economics in Skopje (1970-1976) and for assistant on the subjects economic system and economic policy at the Faculty of Law in Skopje (1976-1982). After the doctration, it became extraordinary (1988) and full professor at the Faculty of Law in Skopje on the subject applied economy (1993). Selected as a member of the presidency of SSM (1985-1989), member of the CCMP President (1989-1991), member of the Central Board of SDSM (1991-1999), Minister of Development (1992-1994), Minister of Science (1994-1996) and Minister of Education and Physical Education in the Government of the Republic of Macedonia (1996-1998). She was ambassador of the Republic of Macedonia to the Kingdom of Sweden (1998-2000). It published eighty scientific papers from the areas of the economic system and the applied economy.
