Timphaya

Timfaya (TSMPHhaya) – an area in Upper Macedonia, inhabited by the Timfi tribe. It was located opposite the northwestern border of Epirus, on the right medium course of the r. Haliakmon. According to Strabon, the teams lived around the sources of the R. Poney, and their capital was Ajeginius, found not far from the Thessal city of Tessa.
