Tikvesh Uprising (1913) – Local uprising in the Tikvesh against the Serbian occupation power in Macedonia, inspired by Bulgaria, and led by Doncho Lazarov, Miso Shukard and Dime Pindurov. The rebellion began on June 19, 1913 and representatives of the Serbian government from Kavadarci, and on June 22 and the city of Negotino. About 50 villages were released in the Tikvesh. In Kavadarci, a meat administration was selected, the municipal building was also the Tikveshevo Revolutionary Flag of the VMORO. The rebels chose a revolutionary headquarters and the Duchy Council for the management of the uprising. The number of armed insurgents was OK. 200 souls and together with the wills of the VMORO were over a thousand. When suffocating the uprising, Serbian military units killed about 1,200 souls, and burned around a thousand houses and stores. Lit.: Revolutionary struggles in Tikvesh.
