The Republic of Macedonia and NATO. On 23. ⅹⅰⅰ 1993 The Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia adopts a decision on membership in NATO. The Republic of Macedonia becomes twenty-seventh member of the Partnership for Peace program (initiated due to stability and security of the whole of Europe to 15. 1995), when it becomes a member and the North Atlantic Council for Cooperation (part of NATO member states and the state Partnership), 30. ⅴ 1997 Euro-Atlantic partner-ski council, after meets the requirement for prior membership in the OSCE, approaches the Partnership for Peace 15. ⅺ 1995. On 12. ⅳ 1996 The government accepts NATO behavior rules. Agreement on the status of NATO forces in the Republic of Macedonia is concluded on 30. ⅴ 1996. (in force of 19. ⅶ 1996). Liaison office of the Republic of Macedonia in Brussels opens on 14. ⅵ 1996. The Republic of Macedonia is admitted to the process of review and planning (PARP) on 16. ⅳ 1997 At 2. ⅹⅰⅰ 1998 The Government of the Republic of Macedonia is a decision on the arrival of NATO forces in the Republic of Macedonia for the purpose of extracting the NATO verification mission in Kosovo. At 9. ⅵ 1999 The North Atlantic Council of NATO approves the updated plan for deployment forces from the KFOR composition in the Republic of Macedonia. NATO’s first troops within the peace process arrive in the Republic of Macedonia on 17. ⅷ 2001. And in three separate missions remain until 31.ⅲ 2003. On 2. ⅴ 2003 The Charter of Partnership between the United States and R Albania, R Croatia and RM, which in the period followed intensively is implemented.
