The EU peacekeeping mission in the Republic of Macedonia – First EU mission “Concordia” (Cornzordia), positioned on the invitation of the President of the Republic of Macedonia Boris Trajkovski (17th and 2003) to the EU High Representative for Common Foreign and Security Policy Javier Solana, as the first concrete Cooperation of NATO and the EU lasts 6, ie after continuation, 9 months (31. – 15. ⅹⅰⅰ 2003) and number 487 members, completely successful because it realizes the key objective – the abolition of the need for further foreign military presence in RM. The basis of the mission is the letter of the EU High Representative for Common Foreign and Security Policy Javier Solana to the President of the Republic of Macedonia Boris Trajkovski (20. 2003), which lists her tasks: providing presence in areas of potential danger and ethnic tension; supporting the monitors of the international community and other international representatives; Connecting to the authorities, local leaders and the population and organizations of the international community, counseling of the authorities of the Republic of Macedonia on security issues.
