The Battle of Sein.

The Battle of Sein (Autumn 1017) – between the Macedonian and Byzantine army. The Byzantines fell into an ambush, which prepared Emperor John Vladislav. To save the army of destruction personally intervened the king Vasily ⅱ. He attacked the Jo-Van Vladislav camp and defeated his army. Many Macedonian soldiers were killed, 200 hard armed were captured, and John Vladislav was saved by escape. Lit.: S. Antophy, Samuil’s state, Skopje, 1969, 101; S.
