Billyar songs – spring ritual calendar songs, associated with the harvesting of herbs, with the slimming of cattle and the accession of the objects. They are associated with certain holidays from the national and church calendar, most with George, but also with a conjunitor, illuminates 40 martyrs, blover, flower, Ivanden, etc. Herbs are harvested at night opposite the feast or in the morning, before sunrise, on the very holiday. It is singing: Come on Bilje, Bella Biljana, / Bilence to Berish, herd to Rulm, / herd to be bothering, herd Brahl … etc .. For most songs, Refrain Biljaro is characteristic! Slow Grieget, Flowers Pulit, Billyaro! / Wind Vejet, Forest Listit, Biljaro! / Rosa Rossit, Grass Grow, Biljaro! The songs have a solemn-magnificent sense. They irritate the most sincere hopes of people for personal happiness, health, love and progress of the whole family and for health and breed of cattle.
