Termites (Iax) – medium size insects, similar to the ants. They are usually whitishly colored, after which they are called white ants. They live in communities composed of a different number of individuals in which there is a division of work-termites. Live ones. Build solid settlements composed of country and secret. Feed with dry wood matter. Are characterized by great fertility. One fertilized female can lay a day about 30,000 eggs. The termites live mostly in the hot areas of Africa and America and build high terminals. Of the 2,500 species of termites only a small number live in Southern Europe.
