Tasheva, Mary

Tasheva, Mary (Radovis, 24. ⅹⅰⅰ 1940) – University professor, sociologist. Primary education ended in the birthplace, and secondary in Stip. Graduated (1964) and Faculty of Philosophy (1971) in Skopje. He received his doctorate at the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje, on the topic “The concept of social change and development in contemporary functionalism” (1991). Assistant at the Institute of Sociological and Political and Legal Research in Skopje (1972-1975), assistant, lecturer, extraordinary and full professor at the Institute of Sociology at the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje on the subjects History of social teachings and contemporary theories of ethnicity (1975-2005 ). He was Undersecretary of Higher Education in the Government of the Republic of Macedonia (1999-2002) and chairman of the home commission for the establishment of the University “Goce Delcev” in Stip (2007). He published textbooks and a number of scientific papers in the field of sociological theories and teachings. Its basic preoccupation is the link between religion and politics.
