Tahir, Qamuran

Tahir, Qamuran (Skopje, 17th and 1925) – Fighter, journalist and political Dean. He finished the gymnasium in Veles and later the Group Djukovic Policy School and the High School of Political Science in Belgrade. As a gymnasium he was a member of the SCOY (from 1941), a member of the IMC to the Veles, a participant in the NOB (1941), as a fighter and deputy political commissioner in the Veles NOO (since 1942). He was wounded and arrested (1943), but as a juvenile released at the trial. He became a member of the CPM (since 1944) and was arrested (1944) and sentenced to 10 years in prison, but managed to escape and joined the NOB. Demobilized as a spare captain of the JNA.
