Siljanovska-Davkova, Gordana (Ohrid, 11. ⅴ 1955) – University professor, lawyer. Primary and secondary education ended in Skopje (1973). She graduated from the Faculty of Law in Skopje (1978), where she also received a master’s degree. PhD in front of a commission led by prof. Franz City with “Cum Laudi” at the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana, on the topic “Local Self Goverment – Betnen Norms and Realities” (1994). It is elected an assistant on the subject Political System at the Faculty of Law in Skopje (1989), for assistant professor of constitutional law and political system (1994), and then for a full professor (2004). He was a member of the Constitutional Commission of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia (1990-1992) and minister in the Government of the Republic of Macedonia (1992-1994). An expert on elections of the UN and vice president of the group of independent experts for local self-government at the Council of Europe. Member of the Venice Commission. He is the author of a hundred scientific papers on constitutional law and the political system. The profession follows the idea of the rule of law, not people.
