Shooting in Macedonia

Shooting in Macedonia – a contemporary sports activity that first mentioned in Skopje (1910). The first shooting sections were formed in the Sokolsal Organization (1930- 1941). After the liberation, a number of shooting companies were established. The established Shooting Union of Macedonia (1948) had 72 companies with 4400 members. Representitimazetovic (1955-1957), Dimitar Kopanov and Andreja Jovanovski. Senior champions of Yugoslavia became: Nikola Vujovic (1955) and Jože Powdin (1960) – a military rifle, “Tito Meta”, Nikola Lukarov – a military rifle, Vlado Georgiev (1981) – Air rifle, and there were champions and youth and pioneering competition . In the Balkan championship, the first places won: Mite Georgiev in Zagreb (1981), Boris Grncharov in Ohrid (1989) and Nada Kitanovska in Istanbul (2002), and a similar success had achieved several competitors and youth competition. The participant of the Olympic Games was Darko Nasevski in Los Angeles (1996), Divna Pesic in Sydney (2000) and Saso Nestorov in Beijing (2008).
