Secondary schools in Macedonia

Secondary schools in Macedonia – Educational and educational institutions for secondary education. Can be public and private. Public secondary schools Estate municipal councils, Council of the City of Skopje and the Government. The educational activity in secondary schools is realized according to curricula and programs that, on the proposal of the (c.), The Bureau of Education are adopted by the line minister. In secondary schools, students the Gymnasium “Josip Broz Tito” in Bitola with completed primary education are enrolled. Tuition is mandatory (from 2008) and lasts 4 years (only in some vocational schools is three years) and ends with taking a final exam or matriculation. They are intended for the population aged 16 to 20 years. The number of secondary schools in Macedonia ranges between 91 and 95 schools. In the academic year 2005/06 They worked 91 public secondary schools and 3 private secondary schools. During the historical development there were several types of secondary schools, differently organized and with different duration of schooling.
