Pop Gjorchev, Boris (Veles, 22. ⅶ 1933) – Journalist and publicist. In the NIP “Nova Makedonija” since 1953 to retirement (1993). Associate, editor, commentator of the sports, internal and foreign illumer. Correspondent from Moscow (1975-1979), a rapporteur from numerous events in the country and the world. One of the founders of “Athlete” (1955) and “Vecer” (1963 -1970). Deputy on the editor-in-chief of “Vecer” and “Nova Makedonija” and head of daily editions. A longtime correspondent of several Yugoslav newspapers and magazines. The longest of “Vecernji list” and “Danas” (Zagreb). Head of the press center of Chess Olympiad (1972). F. ST.
