Petrovska-Milevska, Milena Gip (Skopje, 22. ⅸ 1953) – Microbiologist, regular prof. of honey. f. in Skopje (since 2002). Graduated from medicine in Skopje (1978), specialized microbiology with parasitology (1983), and received a PhD in the topic of identifying the virulence of the uropathogenic strains of Escherizhia Coli and their clinical significance (1990). Head of the Department of the Case (1996-2005) and director of the Institute (since 2002). Was perfected in V. Britain, Germany, the Netherlands and centers in Yugoslavia. Introduction methods and techniques for bacteriological and serological diagnosis of urogenital and respiratory infections and led two national projects. He is a member of several international microbiological associations. Author of over 167 papers and lecturer (upon invitation) to other universities. Exhibit.: Newsletter UKIM, no. 795.
