PES, Murtese (Elbasan, Republic of Albania, 20. 1919 – Rijeka, Croatia, 4. 8. 1981) – Journalist, drama writer, storyteller, and novelist. He graduated from the teaching school in Elbasan (Albania), and then in Florence studied philosophy and music, but he was expelled, because he did not want to sign faithfulness to the king and did not accept the proposal to become a member of the Mussolin’s fascist party. He arrived in Gostivar (1941) and approached the communist movement, engaging with an agitational-propaganda activity and sending News for the NOB to Radio Moscow, Radio London and later Radio Free Yugoslavia. For some time, he was employed as president of the financial office in Kicevo on the Quizze Albanian Kingdom (OK. And editor of “Newsletter” at the seventh Macedonian spread but brigade (from spring 1943). Later, the deputy chief of the political department of the forty-second (Macedonian) division of Nova. After the liberation and demobilizing as a provision of the JNA, it was appointed editor of emissions in Albanian language of Radio Skopje (1946), and then for 16 years he was director and editor-in-chief of the newspaper “Flaka” in Skopje with its own articles from various areas . He was also director and chief editor of the SP. “Yehona”, and then in Radio Skopje as a responsible editor in the program of the program in the languages of the nationalities. He was a member of the Writers’ Association of Macedonia (1957). He is the author of a number of radio, TV and theater plays and the scenario for the feature film “Uka cursed”.
