Perdiccas ⅱ (Perdickas) (? – 413 BCE) – Macedonian King (454- 413 BCE), son and successor to Alexander and Philechen. He led a lot of skillful and variable policy in the period of reinforced hostilities between Athens and Sparta. During the Peloponnesian War (431-404 BCE), depending on the current conditions, he maintained friendly ties, entered political alliances and terminated, continually changing the page, in order to extract as much benefit for its country . He rejected the attack on the Athens ally, the Thracian Department ruler Sethural (429 BCE), who wanted the throne to bring the grandson of Perdika Aminta. His army for 30 days was divided by Macedonian territories, and then retreated after the conspiracy of the sital nephew and his future heir, whom Perdiccas succeeded in the meantime, and in return he gave him his sister’s stratonic. In 424 BC He teamed up with Spartan leader Brusida against Athens and Linkestid ruler Araby, but after the ruin of the attack on Linkestida, he concluded alliance with Athens (423 BCE).
