People’s Liberation Front

People’s Liberation Front (NOF) (23. ⅳ 1945-1949) – Macedonian political organization in the Aegean part of Macedonia, with a leadership of: P. Mitrevski (Secretary), M. Keramitchiev, J. URD, A. Kororeshov, P. Rakovski and M. Fotev. The goal was to recognize the national rights of the Macedonians within the Greek state. The second plenum (February 1949) was accepted the CPG policy for united Macedonia in a Balkan Federation. After the defeat of DAG, NOF was dissolved by the CPG. Lit.: R.
