People’s Assembly of the NRM – the supreme body of state power and representative of the people’s sovereignty of the People’s Republic of Macedonia. It introduces the Constitution of the NRM since 1946. As a single representative body directly selected by the citizens of a mandate period of four years. In the elections held at 3. ⅹⅰⅰ 1950. A 251 MP is selected in the National Assembly. With the US-Constitution of the NRM (1946), the Such Law of 1953. It introduces a two-sided People’s Assembly, composed of the Republic Council and the Council of Manufacturers. In the election of 22-25. Ⅺ 1953 The Republic Council were elected 108, and in the Council of Manufacturers 74 MPs. In the election of 23. ⅲ 1958 In the Republic Council, 113 were selected, and in the provision of producers 78 MPs. The first president of the one-time National Assembly of NRM is Dimce Stojanov-Mire, and the first president of the two-month People’s Assembly of NRM is Lazar Kolishevski.
