It is 136.6 km long, has a total decline of 1,469 m and an average decline of 10.8 ‰. On the territory of the Republic of Macedonia enters near the village of Pelince. The basin covers an area of ​​2,844 km2, of which the Republic of Macedonia belongs to 2,373 km2 or 83.4%, and Serbia 471 km2 or 16.6%.
